Xponance^® Achieves Top Guns Status For First Quarter Of 2020 By Informa Investment Solutions

PHILADELPHIA, PA, June 18, 2020 – Xponance^®, Inc., an investment management company offering active and systematic global equity, passive equity and active fixed income strategies, today announced that it has been recognized with Top Guns status for the first quarter of 2020 by Informa Investment Solutions’ PSN manager database, the longest running investment manager database in North America.

The recognition came for the Xponance^® Core Value Strategy in the Large Value Universe and the Xponance^® Optimized SMID Core Strategy in the Small-Mid Core Universe. Sumali Sanyal, CFA, Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager, leads the team that manages both strategies.

The quarterly ranking is primarily used by institutional asset managers and investors. Top Guns receive a star rating in the range from one to six. The stars indicate the continued performance over length of time. The Xponance^® Core Value Strategy was named to Top Guns status with a star rating of six. Six star category products must have an R-Squared of 0.80 or greater relative to the style benchmark for the recent five-year period. Moreover, products must have returns greater than the style benchmark for the three latest three-year rolling periods. After that they select only the products which standard deviation for the five-year period is equal or less than the median standard deviation for the peer group. The top ten information ratios for the latest five-year period then become the Top Guns. The Xponance^® Optimized SMID Core Strategy was named to Top Guns with a star rating of four, meaning it was a top ten performer within its universe, based on returns for the three-year period.
